Default t2w4/euro r axels

I picked up a t2w4 and the axels that came with them did not fit. It came straight out of a 2000 accord euro r.
I just reused mine.
Do these axels only fit in an accord? 98-02?

Were the lengths off? I always assumed that all of the compatible trans for our cars, you still used the same axles. I used the same axles for an M2S4, M2A4, and M2B4 with LSD.

You could check a Honda parts site and see if the part #'s from the 98-02 Accord 4cyl match any other car but I'm sure the lengths are different considering the wheel bases between the cars are different. The half shafts on the other hand I'm almost positive are the same. You could sell them or what I'd do is just use them as a core return on some new axles, they won't know.

That trans is full of win btw, so glad I spent a little more and got it over the M2B4 or T2T4, well worth it.

it was definately a downgrade for me as I had an M2F4, carbon syncros, Quaife LSD and an Mfactory 4.64 before along with all the bearings and seals replaced.

I just searched both part #'s and it looks like they only work with 98-02 accords.

Why did you switch the trans out then?

because I didn't like driving on the hwy at 5k+
That's about the only reason. I would like to drive this car daily again.
The euro r is still pretty decent.

Yeah I hear ya there, my old trans out of the 4th gen lives on my 5th gen DD, same FD and yeah cruising with the motor singing like that makes me a bit nervous!
