hey everyone i dont know anything about speakers, and i tried searching but didnt find anything. Has anyone cut holes in their rear side panels to put speakers in there? if so what size and if you have any pics please post, or if it was already a thread that i just couldnt find, please give me the link, thanks for time and help

 

r u talking about an ef hatch or a eg hatch? my friend's (crx si) sister has an eg, when she first got it i had the same idea, but after closer inspection, I realized that it would be a total pain in the ***! we decided that we would just use a jig saw to cut out holes on her hatch cover for a set of 6x9" instead. this is much easier and gives out really good bass because the whole trunk area is the 6x9's box (infinite baffle application). this is what i would recommend you do.

 

hey thanks for your reply, i do have an eg hatch by the way, and by the time i got your post i already had everything apart and saw in hand and realized it wouldnt work, i guess i need to find me a hatch cover, thanks again
