07 Si dash flicker
Hi all,
I bought my civic a few months ago from a dealer and I just reached the point of my first oil change. So, I got home from work today and went to change my oil. The drain plug was put on so tight that I cannot budge it with the limited hand tools I have at my disposal. So, I aborted the oil change. But, the level was a little low when I checked the oil, so I added a little (between .5 and 1 quart) to top it off until I can go somewhere to get this done for me.
Now, when I went to start the car, instead of attempting to turn over the dash flickers violently and I can hear a ticking in the beat of the flickering. It does not start or attempt to start.
A few more things
-When the key is in the "II" position the Battery, Oil pressure, and little yellow wrench stay lit up. The CEL lights up for a few seconds (15 or so?) and turns off.
- I did have the radio on while I was attempting to loosen the drain bolt (for between 1/2 hour and 45 min)
-The car is completely stock aside from some HID's that were installed before I purchased the car
I have a trickle charger on the battery right now in case that is the problem, but I've never seen anything like this for as little as I did to the car.
