Who wants my Mugen 26mm stabilizer bars front and rear?
I have the 26mm front and rear stabilizer bars for the '97+ ITR. They retail for $370 EACH at king motorsports...you can see a pic here:

I WILL NOT SELL THE BARS SEPARATELY....ONLY FOR SALE AS A PAIR!
Thanks, just wanted to head off that question. The bars were only on my R for a little while as I experimentd with different setups. I'd like to see these go to someone who will put them to good use on a track. I will accept paypal only...no trades, bouncing personal checks, altezza's, first born children, etc. Any of the old school folks from this board can vouch for me, so no concerns. Make me an offer at J_Ritt44@yahoo.com Whoever has the deepest pockets gets them.
Thanks.

You could sell the rear easily. Selling the front would be a PITA I think. Why not sell the front to Alan and the rear to someone else?
Well, you hit the nail on the head. I am selling as a pair to make sure I get rid of them both. One will be no good to me...and selling them to separate people will be more of a pain for me to ship, etc.
I will definitely keep alan in mind though. If i decide to break the pair, i will contact you ALan. thanks guys.
I'm guessing that someone out there has a set of lowdowns that wants the matching bars.

What did you learn about these bars while experimenting with different set-ups?
I'm interested, if you could tell us what the consequences of owning 26mm F/R sway bars are... eg autoX and track reference are needed, I can't careless about street driving. Thanks.
I'd take the rear bar
. If someone wants the front bar ... I would buy both and make a deal to sell the front.

If you are basically stock with the suspension, then the rear bar will make a definitely noticeable difference everywhere...street, track, autoX. I had the mugen 26 rear on an otherwise stock setup for a while, and that was actually my favorite setup. I did a few track events with and without the bar...i noticed the biggest difference on long sweepers...the front of the car would just set in and point through the turn...a great feeling. Some people think the car oversteers too much with just the rear bar...but with the otherwise stock setup, I didn't feel that was the case. I had a couple of wiggles with this setup (most notably at the bus stop at watkins glen), but it was easy enough to catch and countersteer. I also had the spoon rear strut bar out back with the mugen. The mugen stab bar made a much bigger difference IMO than the strut bar.
As for adding the front and back mugen bars on the stock setup...that didn't feel good for my driving style. I would only add the front if you are stiffening up the back with springs/adjustable shocks/etc. Then, the front bar could balance out some of the oversteer...you'd just have to experiment, and it would be impossible to generalize what the effects would be without trying it. What I was heading towards if I had kept my R was a mugen lowdown suspension with full hard in back on the shocks, and both stab bars. Those pieces were designed to compliment eachother.
