Default Which AEM Intake EK/B18CR swap CARB Legal

Hi,
I'm having some issues getting the right intake for my 99 Civic with a B18C-R swap. AEM tech support says they don't make a CARB legal intake for my swap, and they don't know if the 99 Si intake will fit. The AEM guy seemed confused that people actually do this swap

I'm looking at AEM Part Number 24-6017C, but since this is a Si intake it's 2.75" instead of 3". But I'm thinking it should fit fine, however it won't be Cali legal...

Cali smog technicians (and cops) typically don't bitch if they see a CARB sticker. So that's really what I'm paying $300 for... Maybe I say screw the whole AEM intake idea and put in the stock ITR tube and live with a hot air intake
