Hello,
Just for I inderstand someting.

When they speak about Garrett Spec and PTE Spec are they speak the same spec?

Is it the little diameter?

GT3082 is

-Wheel: 60mm w/ 84 trim
Compressor
-Wheel: 82mm w/ 56 trim

PTE 6262 is

They are not the same specification. especially with the turbine wheel. Turbine wheel for the 6262 is measured by the exducer, and not the wheel diameter. So in your case, where you're looking at the exhaust wheel of 60mm for the GT3082R, while the wheel diameter of the 6262 is 71mm. BIG difference in wheel size and aerodynamics. Top end power is better made with a 6262 compared to a GT3082R. Slightly less responsive as well.

Compressor side for the GT3082R = 61.4mm
Compressor side for 6262 = 62mm

Aerodynamics for the 6262 compressor wheelis similar to a GT4718R (shrunk down to 62mm)
Aerodynamics of the GT3082R compressor wheel is the same as the SC61, GT3582R, etc, =61.4mm inducer, 82mm exducer.

The PRecision 6262 "ball-bearing" uses a ceramic ball-bearing cartridge
The Garrett GT3082R "Ball-bearing" cartridge uses steel ball-bearings.

Your'e getting your inducer and exducer measurements confused. that's why they seem similar in some ways. But they are very different indeed.

See the differences?

it is for DRAG Racing.
B18, 85mm Darton Sleeves; Skunk2 Cams, AFI Header, Eldelbrock intake..

The 6262 or 6265 is bigger or can hit more HP than the GT3582?

The GT3582R is an efficient turbocharger, and is better overall than the GT3082R. As for the 6262 and 6265 and other equivalent turbochargers, they are designed for a lot more top end in mind. Considering you're in FRANCE, however, repair may come as an issue if you do not have a repair facility that can work on Precision turbochargers available. (Though similar, PRecision turbos are not the same internally as Garrett). With a Ball-bearing cartridge, you at least qualify for the Garrett exchange program if something were to happen, or if you get something with Garrett Parts, you can repair at a local Authorized Garrett Facility. ( I believe there is one in Grenoble).

So, yes, the 6262 and 6265 can make more top end power, but power is not the only thing you should be looking at when deciding which to choose.

My car will be for DRAG Racing.
As far as the 6262 or 6265 can make more top end power, the 6766 will be great for me!

It is quite difficult for repair in France you're right.

The 6266 replaces the 6265. The 6262 is still the same.
Again. Think about repair, replacement and use. You can alway push more boost pressure.

Are you sure you really need 700whp, is the real question. There are plenty of people in the high 10 second range with less than 600whp, but have the correct supplemental equipment and driving ability to do it.
