pluse is a nice feature, but i hardly ever use it. i usually use it at over 500pps on fusing thin stainless sheet together.

That guys videos have taught me so much.

I've been playing with the pulse settings on mine, glad to have the feature, most of the time I don't use it but there are times I'm glad to have it.

I've been usin pulse since day one. I welded for places on older miller industrial machines that didn't have it, and while they welded nice, I could do more and have a nicer final weld with pulse enabled machines.

I won't say this video really taught me much at all...I was hopin to learn something that maybe I was missing, but that really wasn't the case. Pulse is great for teaching noobs rhythm and it's great for controlling heat and working with stainless. While you can weld pretty damn nice with 1 or 2pps on stainless, it really is a mf'er with aluminum. My welds are FAR nicer on aluminum without any low frequency pulse. High frequency is debatable, but with how quick aluminum is to go bad, I feel that pulse brings in a variable that I'd rather fully control myself through the pedal. In my opinion, no mans land on aluminum is anything below 35+. On stainless and mild though, 1-2pps can really make a hell of a weld.
