Default Please identify swap harness thing!

What's up H-t i just recently bought a crx with a b16 and found some kind of swap harness thingy, at least that's what i think it is, the wires have tape with ecu pinouts that say a1, a5 and b10, b12 but the b10 and b12 wires are plugged in to the C plug, can anyone identify what this is used for, the car has alot of wiring problems and im thinking that maybe a reason, ohh and the engine is OBD2, here are some pictures..

Looks like an obd0 ecu. Someone tried to run the newer engine with an older ecu without a proper harness. What ecu are you running?

a1=injector 1
a5=injector 3
b10=distributor cyp +
b12=distrobutor cyp -

you sure its an si cause that is DPFI to MPFI wiring.

Are you positive you have an si? I ask this because those wires look like the ones that would need to be ran in order to do a DPFI to mpfi conversion.

Your car should already be set up and those wires should not need to be ran. I want to go on a limb and say you have a dx model crx.

I could be mistaken but the 88 si's come with the sunroof right??, and i just ran the VIN and it said that it was a crx 1.6, the guy before redrilled seat holes through the chassis, It wouldn't be a surprise to me if he couldn't get his car running and tried everything possible to try and get it running, he cut wires left and right also and half *** put them back together, but i think i might try to repair the interior harness as best as i can, and start off with a new engine harness cause i has plugs missing everywhere

i see your in cali, what part are you in?

also double check n make sure you have the following plugs on your shock tower:
Driver side - 6 wire rectangle plug
Passenger Side - 14 wire round plug, rectangle 6 wire plug and rectangle 8 wire plug

yes 88 si's should also have a sun roof. if you need a new engine harness lmk, i can build you a brand new one. check out my FB link below.

Txt me.

Your 6 wire plug is white. That is for your engine harness not the resistor box
