Default Speedo cuts out w/ turn signals

What's up guys, I'm hoping you could help me out, I got a 1995 ej coupe last Sunday, car runs great the only problem I'm having with it is that when I hit the turn signals the speedo needle takes a dive, it only happens for a second and it comes right back up to the proper speed, doesn't matter if the lights are on or off it does it all the time, both left and right signals, I haven't seen if it does it with the hazards but I'm sure it would, anyway I don't really know where to start, I'd appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction!

Thanks in advance guys!

Btw the other gauges work fine (rpm, gas and water temp) it only happens with the speedometer

With any electrical gremlins, it is tough to start out, i would start by looking for places where they could short out, under the dash and behind the cluster. hopefully it will be obvious but no garentees. It could be that a hack job alarm install damaged on or the other.

If no luck there, grab the service manual and trace the wires and check for the right voltages etc to each item.

Update: The problem was fixed after i took out all the alarm wiring under the dash, i was trying to pinpoint exactly what the problem was but i couldnt really see anything out of the ordinary with the wiring, but the problem was solved so obviously it was something with the alarm wiring lol
