My first guess would be the heater core.

Does the rear spare tire area have water in it?

First of all before blaming the heater core, does it smell like coolant on the inside?

if it was coolant from the heater core im sure the smell would be obvious and you would eventually overheat due to loss of coolant. i think i remember someone talking about some sort of drain for the roof coming down the passenger side a pillar area which would be letting rain water in the cabin.

It's gotta be the A/C drain.

If it’s non of the above and she has a sunroof, check the sunroof drain tube. It could be blocked or disconnected. I would also check the cabin intake cowl (the black plastic piece below the windshield where the wipers connect) these seem to be a common places for leaks on the passenger side. You would most likely notice these after rain or washing the vehicle.

The drain tube runs down the passenger side pillar. Where the sun-visor connects. If I remember correctly it runs under the dash and out the frame behind the front fender near the front tire. I will try to post some links. If not, do a search for "front passenger floor wet" this should bring up good the previous posts.
