First a little about myself
Im 35 years old and been in the game a long time. If I dont work on my car myself, I will only let people I trust touch it. I guess Im somewhat of an perfectionist. Im **** about my vehicles. I have put over 20K in this CRX. I have a lot of receipts.

Description
I got the stock crx HF in 2004. It has always been in an attached garage. She had 136,728 miles on her. Thats right I only gone 13,000 miles in 7+ years. I would guess that it has always been garaged, before it was mine. The salvage title is a complicated story. I havent ran a CAR FAX on the vin. If your interested I will provide the vin#. I too would be curious.
Paint was done in 2005. It wasnt some backyard, macco paint job. Its professionally done. The car was completely stripped down. New 1/4 window trim. Antanna hole has metal welded in, than filled. Engine bay has had all visible cauking removed. The bay and jams are as nice as the outside paint. This is kept in pristine condition. $4000
In the end of 2006 ROB MORSE of TPR (TOTAL PERFORMANCE RACING) in Cincy Ohio put in an LSVTEC. $7100. I have the build sheet. Always have ran Royal Purple racing 21. With oem oil filter $70 oil change every spring. Also, premium gas too. The set up has had a couple grand more put in to since the visit at TPR.
The last 4 or 5 years it has spent most of its time in the garage. If it wasnt in the garage if was at a show winning plaques and trophies. Its been to Carlisle 2 or 3 times. Also, Nopi car show series too. Ive always added great pieces to the crx to make it that much better.

Car runs great. Could use a complete tune. Still on base map. No check engine lights. Brakes are OK. Probly could use pads.
NO wipers No heater. Buyer will get all parts to put them back in. No Radio or speakers. Engine light is shift light. Gets 35 mpg. When fuel pump was installed the tank was rubberized.
A lot of things we did to the car was to save weight. To offset things like the weight of the body kit, bigger battery and rear seat ETC... It weighed exactly 2000 pounds the way it sits. Was weighed in August.

The salvage title is a complicated story.

Was it theft or a accident(major body damage) ?

 

OK I will explain it the best I can.
I found the car at a used car lot. It wasnt ready to be put on the lot for sale yet. So I told the lot owner I wanted it. He said OK but, he was waiting on getting the title. So weeks go by and still no title!!! Finally he told me he was waiting 6 months so that he could take it to get it state inspected. That way he could produce a title (salvage title). What he told me was he saw it on a flatbed on its way to (Im assuming a salvage yard).? He stopped and asked about it. And they said an old man owned it and he just got hit in the rear corner from another vehicle going 20 mph. The guy ended up giving him the crx for what ever amount of money. I never knew how much he bought it for.
Now.... from there I assume he never got the title from the original owner????
Then had to wait 6 months to file for another title????
I dont really know the laws on vehicle titles, maybe someone here does?
All I know is it seemed somewhat sketchy at the time.
And by NO means this should of been a salvage car. All it really did was push the rear bumper on the drivers corner in like an inch and the taillight was busted. Ive had the title in my name this whole time with out a problem. And the car lot being the previous owner. So IDK
