B16b intake question.
Hello first post here. I have a 1999 civic si with a ctr b16b I'm looking for a cold air intake I've searched and found an aem hybrid intake part # 21-5007c. My question is should I just put a k&n panel filter and call it a day, or is this aem hybrid intake worth it? Thank you all in advance

Well with that aem hybrid intake it says b16 or b18c5 swap .. Does this make a difference? And will this fit my b16b? I don't want to make a 200 dollar mistake.
If you'll browse the all motor forum you'll learn this very quickly:
99% of the time, on any engine, a short ram intake with a velocity stack is the best across the board intake for ANY ENGINE.
3" tube + Velocity stack and a good filter.
The only way to improve upon this is to tune the short ram at varying lengths. Other options are to have a 4" tube stepped to a 3.5" tube, stepped to a 3" tube at the Throttle body.
Cold air intakes are NOT the best intake, simply. Short rams generally perform better on all engines.
