ek b16 no start
Alright well I tried figuring it out on my own, but I just can't seem to get it. I just traded this dude for a 98 ek hatch with a b16 swap. It ran fine the first day and a half then it started to shut off on me every now and then. two days ago it let me sit on the highway so i let it sit for a little then it would start back up and run for a little. now just yesterday I took it for a spin and right when I got home I shut it off and now it will not start. The dash lights do not come on like no check engine or anything, only the radio and heater will come on. The weird thing is I noticed a brown wire that goes from the rad fan to my battery, it was on the negative side and so i put it on the positive side to see what would happen and then the fan kicked on and everything worked, it would start up and idle fine but when I went to turn the key off it kept running so i just disconnected the wire from the positive terminal and back to square one I go. I did some research and saw some people post threads that had similar problems to me and they said it was the main relay so I went to advance, got a new one and put it in and nothing changed. I have a feeling it has something to do with these wires that go from the rad fan to the battery. Also i forgot to mention that the wire that goes from the rad fan to battery is split with another wire that goes to into my firewall and goes into a fuse. I've checked all the fuses in the engine bay and under the dash I don't know what else to do with this thing its starting to get on my nerves so if somebody could please help me I would appreciate it very much. thank you
