ek civic, electrical trouble
Car has been struggling to start in the mornings, especially on cold days...its basically like this: THIS.
I'll have to do that about 4-5 times before the engine finally turns over and than I'll have to keep giving it gas for a minute or two or else it'll turn off. When Im driving its fine no stalling or anything, which leads me to believe the problem is electrical, esp since it does idle like ****. At a stop light for instance it wont completely turn off but you can hear it shaking and struggling to stay on and the lights inside kind of start to dim.
A few weeks ago, the car also got to the point where if I went a day without turning it on/driving it it would be completely dead the next day. But it'd just jump start it and it'd start up, got the battery checked out and it was fine. Well a few days ago, I tried to jump start it but the engine wouldnt turn over. Popped the clutch though and it started right up, took the starter out to make sure and had it checked and apparently its also fine. Now Im guessing the alternator is bad which isnt allowing the battery to charge? Any help would be appreciated.

autozone can check your alternator in or out of car, make sure u check the batt fuse under the hood, check all wiring going in to fuse box under hood
