i just did mine with 90 teg ls rear trailing arms. get the whole thing off of a teg in the junkyard. if it is a 2 dr, you can use the e brake lines, better would be to get everything from a 90-91CRX SI. my rear wheels are sitting a little wider. unbolt the 14 mil that holds the lower control arm, underneath the brake, the 2 17 mils that are under the pivot point towards the front of the arm, and the 14 mil bolt that adjusts the toe in/out, this is towards the center of the car in front of the arm. also, get the master cylinder and proportioning valve from the donor car. this will be the best setup to use with the brakes.

I have an '89 civic wagon; would the trailing arms from a '94 up gsr work with the wagon? I know from learning the hard way that the trailing arms on the wagon are longer than anything before '92 and i have talked to a couple of guys that generaly know theyre stuff, they say yes. Anybody got any info?

I have everything for the swap but all of my rear suspension bolts are frozen. I have broke like 4 sockets trying to get the damn things loose. Anyone have any ideas on how I can get the LCA dropped?

Keep in mind that you will also have to replace the rear struts when you do the swap. The 88 uses a different lca. I did the same thing to my 88 DX. I added the rear disk and sway bar from a 90 Si. I also used the 90-91 EX master cylinder and the 90 Si proportioning valve.

Let us knoe if you have any more questions.

yea it does the trailing arms... i have 94+ on my 88 rex si so it will work but you will need a MC and a Booster... and that is where i am stuck cuz i have a 94+ MC and booster and ppl said it wont and some siad it will... ummm look in the back posts... some ppl used a 89 accord lxi MC and booster soo i dunno also i guess you need a porporation value or something like that... it will stop like eng down sport cut spring setup...

i used integra rear trailing arms, integra upper control arms, 88 CRX SI lower control arms, no ebrake cables as of yet, and 18" braided brake lines. i do notice some negative rear camber that i don't remember being there before, which is strange because i even raised the car up after swapping the rears, as my rear track widened, and my oversized rear tires were conflicting with the fender well. stupid 205 55 15's. need 195/50!!!

if your breaking sockets they must suck *****.

heat it up and put an impact on it. breaker bars often result in twisted off heads on suspension bolts (believe me i know) aint fun.

The local pick-and-pill junk yard here has a 1992 2-door integra with rear disc brakes.... They only want $100 for the whole setup.. is that a good price? If so, will taking all the parts from that include everything I will need to convert my 1990 civic dx hatch to rear disc?

I've got a full 2000 Si swap under my ED3. Make sure to use the longer dogbones so the rear toe can be adjusted properly. On the front, the upper A-arms of the newer cars are shorter, but that's cool because on a stock ride height car you get ~1.8* pos camber, which eliminates the need for a camber kit when you lower your car. On the rear everything bolts up. The e-brake cables worked out fine too, just a little difference between the grommet where they come through the floor. Might want to look into getting a set of stainless brake lines though. Make installation much easier.
