Figured I would update this....decided to sell it again...
There was some very minor transport damage when I shipped the car from NJ to CA. I finally decided to take it to Sterling Collision in Tustin, CA. Apparently they service very high end cars there including Lamborghinis and McLarens.
Anyway, when it came back it came back better than new. Every single rock chip on the front/rear bumpers were gone. No marks even behind the rear wheels. They were nice enough to shave the license plate holes AND refininsh the 1cm curb mark on my Volk wheel.
Honestly, I wanted to keep it at that point so I kinda forget about this ad and selling it. In the end, I drive the car maybe once a week and it's not worth it for me to keep with the monthly payment. Going to be picking up a cheaper car temporarily now.
This is back up for sale! Please let me know if you have any question. The car is now in PERFECT shape, like it came from the dealer.
Car Highlights
Year: 2008
Color: Alpine White
Mileage: 34,500
Model: E92 M3 (coupe)
Transmission: 6 Speed
Price AS IS: $44,000
Price w/o aftermarket: $42,000 (relatively firm)
VIN: WBSWD93598PY40039
Location: Southern California (Irvine to Los Angeles area)
Summary
For sale is my well cared for M3 coupe. I purchased this certified pre-owned in Prestige BMW in New Jersey in July of 2010 with ~9,000 miles. The remaining miles have been 90% highway traveling to and from work. As of last month, I have relocated to Southern California and shipped the car here. I am looking to sell the car and move onto something different.
The car is STILL under a transferrable CPO warranty through ANY BMW dealership until 50K miles. Since I've had it, there have been ZERO problems except for a rear tailight bulb which was replaced for free. The car has been given regular oil changes using the specific M synthetic oil from BMW.
This is a relatively bare-bones M3. It does not have navigation, Technology Package, Premium Package, Convenience Package, Cold Weather Package, etc. It DOES, however have 3 important options for any enthusiast.
* Carbon fiber roof
* EDC (Electronic Damper Control)
* Novillo Black Leather (non-extended)
* BMW Performance LED steering wheel (partial alcantara wrapped)
I care for all my vehicles meticulously. The car is washed approximately once a week and waxed monthly (more coats on high impact areas). As with any pre-owned vehicle, there will be some minor rock chips on the front bumper. This car does NOT have a clear bra. Headlights are in perfect shape.
Please let me know of any questions you may have via email at ahmedshamoo@gmail.com or PM here. Please understand that any offers
will be considered as a first come/first serve basis.
I still owe BMW Financial ~$35K, so any interested buyers will need to work with me and BMW to complete the deal. I have done this in the past with my prior cars with no issue.
The car is located in Irvine, and can be viewed at any time as long as you let me know. I work Monday through Friday in the Los Angeles area. The car is not driven currently as to conserve mileage. It resides in a safe/secured/gated community.
Additional Factory items
* 19" factory forged alloy wheels w/brand new tires
* M3 floormats (also included are generic 3 Series floor mats)
* BMW/Thule Factory roof rack and racing bike attachment
* BMW all-weather trunk mat
Aftermaket items
* Volk Racing Gunmetal TE-37s (Front: 19x9.5 +22, Rear: 19x10.5 +20)
* 2008-2009 TPMS included
* Vredestein Tires with plenty of tread(Front 225, Rear 295)
* Most likely will have factory 19" forged alloys
* Fabspeed resonated x-pipe
* Fabspeed high flow cats
* Fabspeed O2 extenders
* Agency Power exhaust w/connecting pipes
* Powerchip Stage I tune
* RDSport lowering springs
* Macht Scnell air filter
* RPI red intake scoops
* Matte Black kidney grills
* BMW Performance LED steering wheel
* JL Audio 8 channel amp (w/Technic harness)
* Police siren (Whelen siren w/Whelen manufactured 150watt speaker, includes multiple tones and PA system)
Notes regarding aftermarket items
* Car can be sold without Volks, Fabspeed system, and exhaust system for a reduced price. Since I do not have my tools (still in NJ) I'm not able to do any type of swaps here yet.
* There is a separate FS/FT thread regarding the Volk Wheels and exhaust system.
* Amplifier replaces OEM BMW amplifier in the trunk. This will allow you to install aftermarket subs/speakers without worrying about integration into the car. The base stereo sounds much better with the amplifier alone. I do have the factory amp, but it is located in NJ. If you are interested in having this, once my house closes and I transport my belongings over, you can have it. You have my word.
* I do have the factory x-pipe, which includes the factory catalytic converters. If you buy the car as is, you can have the factory x-pipe as well. When it ships over from NJ in mid-January, you have my word that you can have it (applies to local sales of course).
* I also have the OEM M3 steering wheel. Since I do not have my tools with me, I'm selling the car with the performance wheel. The factory wheel will not be sold with the car unless I'm able to get a good price.
Pricing comparisons
KBB Private Party
Excellent - $42,540
Very Good - $41,540
Good - $40,440
Fair - $37,040
Pictures w/notes

Straight body with zero body work.

CF roof with the BMW factory roof rack.

As you can see, the factory roof rack does NOT contact with the roof in any way.

When the car was shipped from NJ to CA, it had some minor damage. I'm currently dealing with the shipper's insurance. This may or may not be fixed. But it should not impact the price much at all.
Scuffs on rear bumper.

Small dimple on hood near powerdome. Already confirmed that a $75-100 PDR will remove this.

Matte black kidney grills.

Sorry for the dirty interior. I'm staying at my cousin/aunt's place and I don't have a vacuum to use. Rest assured all marks are just dust/dirt.

BMW all weather trunk mat. Trunk carpeting underneath is in perfect shape.

Showing BMW Performance LED steering wheel.

Rear seating area used maybe 5 times total.

Wheels (specs are mentioned in summary above)
Driver's front.

Driver's rear.

Passenger rear.

Passenger front.

Small nick on passenger rear. This was there when I bought them from the prior owner.

Funny stain. Can't feel it with your finger. This was most likely my doing. I'm not a detailer, so I'm not sure if this will come out.

I really only did work on the Integra because...well I was young and it was fun. After that, I mostly kept my cars stock since I didn't want another money pit. Primarily just wheels, suspension, etc.
Sirens are definitely not legal. Impulse buy for really no reason at all. I attend a few charity rallies and sometimes it's fun to use it on those. Not a cop.

If it doesn't sell in 2 weeks, I'm going to take the hit and trade it in. I have some people most likely picking up the wheels and exhaust setup this weekend so that'll net me some $ that will help with the downpayment on the new car.

Yes sir. Had a somewhat built turbo in a 97 Integra LS, then a 2001 Silverstone S2000 that was stolen. Short hiatus for a while, then got a brand new 2007 White S2000. Then eventually to this M3.
