Default Legend caliper upgrade w/ 28T bracket?

Hey guys, so I did a search regarding the 94+ Legend GS 2 piston caliper upgrade but I didn't find much info about the 23T vs 28T brackets on 07' cooper base rotors.

my setup would be:

legend 2 piston calipers
hawk hps pads
mini cooper base 280mm rotors

I have a 2001 integra LS that are on LS meshies. Are the 28T brackets a perfect fit or would I have to grind 3mmm of it off to have rim clearance ? I believe i would have to do this for the prelude rotors, but does anyone know if i need to for the mini cooper base rotors? Thanks!!

I am running this setup. Get the 23t brackets no modification needed. Everything will bolt up.

Bracket should match the rotor thickness.

If you want to upgrade the rears get the rsx/ep3 rear caliper w/ep3 rotors. Bolts right on. The only thing you have to do is put your stock ebrake mech onto the ep3 rotors. When you look at them you will know exactly what I mean.

soo are you saying the 28T brackets need to be grinded?

where can i buy the 23T brackets? also, do i need to change the proportional valve and upgrade to a larger master brake cylinder?

Well I upgraded my civic si to integra 1". You should be fine seeing that you have an integra already. Not 100% sure about the 28t brackets. The grinding issue should be all set seeing that you are running the mini rotors. They are a tad thinner than the alternatives. 23t brackets come on the single piston legends, preludes and make accords. Let me check.

I see a lot of discussion regarding removing material from 23T brackets, or using shims with 28T brackets - but only a few on using the 25T brackets, which don't seem to require the removal of metal or shims...

As a good example, cHeck this out: http://cl.acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=783115

Don't know about you but I'm much more comfortable with the idea of assembling things that fit well when dealing with critical safety parts in high-stress applications.. if possible! ; ' ) That, and I don't have a machinist handy.

Keep us posted, plz - and take some pics when you're done.
