after boosting my car, it would throw a p1259 manufacturer control fuel air metering code every once in a while, and the car wouldnt rev past 3k and was slow as a dog. This problem was solved by either unplugging the ecu or disconnecting the battery. In addition, the car idles roughly and slowly cycles from extremely lean to extremely rich. Now that the weather is much colder in ny, it throws the code instantly and the car will not run correctly, or stay idling for more than a few seconds. Any ideas?

 

limp mode its a fail safe so your dumb *** dont blow the motor

you see you cant just throw a turbo on and go hot rodding yo

you have to get a tune, and well probly chipped as well


no there is no way around it either do this or eventually say byby to your engine

dont mean to be so harsh, but education is a must when it comes to this stuff

I've seen that code before on a friends car! he put bigger injectors in without a tune...and car acted the same way... take the car to a reputable tuner...and have it tuned!
