i am curious as to what this part does (the white plastic piece that goes inbetween the 2 vacuum hoses that go from the intake to the bottom of the brake booster)?




the brakes will stick to the point where they will be close to being completely locked up but when i unhook the vacuum line from the bottom of the booster the brakes will instantly release and the car will roll. so i was curious as to what the white plastic is for. is it some sort of valve or just a coupler for the 2 vacuum hoses because i dont want to guess on a booster just to find out that it was this part that i posted. thanks

 

It's the check valve. Did you adjust the pushrod as instructed?
