Default OEM oil cooler (heat exchanger) ; JDM vs. USDM

I just recently bought a used OEM ITR oil cooler, and I noticed that the bolt that came with it is longer than the USDM bolt I already got laying around (see picture). Meaning that the core is thicker. The longer bolt also got a spring mechanism in it which the other don't.

So I was thinking that I may've gotten a JDM version? Is the OEM JDM oil cooler bigger/thicker than the USDM?

I got a JDM b18c-r block and the oil cooler it came with was the same as usdm one, along with the center bolt.

Do you remember if the center bolt had a spring mechanism in it?

Found out it's from a 1995 GSR motor. Strange that it's thicker than the ITR unit. Hopefully it cools better. I studied the spring mechanism inside the center bolt, and it looks like it's there to make sure oil gets forced into the cooler through the holes in the bolt as well as allowing some oil to pass straight through the bolt.
