There's a lot that goes into a turbo system, start researching.

I'm running 10:1 compression on my setup, high compression isn't the issue, understanding what you're doing is.

BTW, 5psi on my setup is 285whp [on a low reading dyno], that's easily +100hp over stock and well beyond what stock injectors will do.

BTW, for $60 for a working turbo, I'd buy it and find out what it is. At the worst you have a really cool $60 paper weight.

I actually have a blown Precision 6262 paper weight, which is basically Precision's version of the GT35.

Just make sure you have good rings in that engine.

Compression text? Your motor got wi-fi or something? LOL

Bigger injectors for 5psi, yes. There are fuel/hp ratio calculators on the web from reputable companies like Garrett, figure out what size injector you need for 250-300 horsepower and add at least 20% to give yourself room to grow.

If I remember correctly, the stock H22 injectors are only good to around 225whp.

FYI, 5psi on an H22 isn't the same as 5psi on a B16. An H22 will create more horsepower, pound for pound than a D or B-series, due to the displacement difference. I'm around 400whp on 10-12psi with 10:1 compression, while my friend has a stock B16 with ~10.6:1 compression needs 18psi to create 400whp, smaller motor, same airflow creates higher boost pressures.

Also, wheel horsepower is only like 80-90% of crank horsepower. This is why an H22 rated at 190-210bhp [at the flywheel] by Honda, dynos between 165-180whp [at the wheels] with no mods [also depending on the dyno].

Yeah, just stick a random turbo on your car....awesome

You need way more info than that to even come close to making a good decision....

You might have a fun time finding a manifold to mount that stock subie turbo on.

Up to $200 I've seen people ask for a stock subie turbo. So $60 is reasonable.

You'll need a lot more stuff, for some people, a random turbo is a starting point.

You should probably start looking through the FAQs and reading about how to build a turbo setup before you buy anything.

I like the $60 turbo ...

It's a lot cheaper than a proper $800-1200 turbo ...

well you hit the hammer on the nail with that one, cheaper. You pay for what you get...i understand it's a subie turbo...but i mean if you're gonna just build a backyard turbo...you're bound to tear your **** up. So if this kid wants reliable he needs to research....and maybe it's just me but i wouldn't go anything less than a ball bearing turbo.
