1995 civic coupe manual, b18a1 swap gsr hydro tranny original wiring harness,chipped p28,wire tuck.

Ok so i pulled the single cam out of my coupe and in the process i pulled the dash and fully wire tucked my engine bay and painted it,i cut new holes in the firewall and run the engine harness plugs threw the new holes. I did not extend any of the engine harness wires(did not have to). So today i put the dash back in hooked everything up and popped in my battery.I turned the key to the on position the check engine light didnt come on neither did the oil light.my fuel pump does not prime i know the ecu is good ive ran it on 3 different cars.I know the main relay is good(tried on a friends car) I did hook up the ground under the dash,all plugs are nice and tight.thermostat ground is tight.thanks in advance.Also i have my dash and heater core out right now so i can check first thing in the morning.

 

Start by checking whether 10A dash fuse 15 is blown. Is the gauge assembly unplugged?

 

I pulled the dash without removing the cluster, the brake light comes on on the cluster. thats it, and i checked all fuses they are all good.any other ideas are appreciated

 

Check whether the warning light bulbs are blown.

Then use a multimeter or test light to check for battery voltage at both top test tabs of fuses 31 and 24.

 

not sure how to use a multimeter, but i can try that tomorrow, could you explain to me the next step after that if there is power and if there isnt.

 

Click the Test Fuses link in my signature. Obviously, if a fuse is blown, replace it. If the problem continues, then test the replaced fuse again to see whether it blew.

Fuse blown = voltage on only one of the two test tabs
No power to fuse = no voltage on either test tab
Fuse and power good = battery voltage at both tabs

 

where is fuse 31? i only see up to 25.

 

15A hood fuse 31
15A dash fuse 24

another thing i forgot to add, i did not finish my passenger side wire tuck i cut off the harness so there is like 10-15 wires that are not connected, and i cant find my plugs or ground box i cut so i dont know which wires are which.

 

Obviously, the cut wires are something to pursue.

Maybe you should finish the tuck and see if your problems go away.

found the problem it ended up being my thermostat housing ground, it was dirty af.
i dont have any pics of the tuck as of now besides on my phone, i have since sold that car to pay tickets and get my license back.i have a sky blue ef ex with ls swap =]
