EF H22 Swap Info (DONT FLAME!)
Hello everyone! Im new to the site but not to honda's. To throw a little bit of info out there, Ive owned about 7 Honda's / Acura's including a 92 VX H22 hatch back in 01. I love the way that car handled and the torque was on point. With that being said Ive always wanted to put a H in a 88-91 Sedan or hatch and now the time has come. Ive done some searching and still have some questions. I know a few have already been answered but reiterating them wouldnt hurt.
1. Mounts- Explicit, Hasport, or other mounts?
2. Wiring (I can solder and rewire with no problems) what are the nesessary changes in wiring? Im going to get a obd-0 to obd-1 ecu harness but Id like to do the dpfi to mpfi to h22 wiring myself and am having trouble coming up with definitive answers.
3. Axles- Make my own? (what shafts and ends to use) or go with pre-made ones?
4. VSS to Cable Speedo- What to do there?
5. Any other insight into this swap? Total cost, hidden problems etc etc...
Ive done many swaps in my 91 Integra be it B16 and B20 but its been 10yrs since my last swap so Ive been out of the Honda scene for a while. Thanks in advance everyone and I look forward to posting/learning on this site!

You should start by reading this... A LOT of your questions will be answered in here...
https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-crx-ef-civic-1988-1991-3/88-91-crx-ef-civic-frequently-asked-questions-faqs-1508680/
The way you say things already brings great concern... Why wouldn't you be able to solder wires? If I give you one piece of advice that you listen to it would be (aside from the jumper harness) USE YOUR FACTORY WIRING HARNESS AND MODIFY AS NEEDED!!!!! I can't stress that enough...
Since this swap has only been done thousands of times... The cost will be whatever you make it... The hidden problems will only be there if you don't research enough on your own, ect... You are only prepared as much as you prepare yourself.
PS - If you ask not to flame, it tends to invite the flaming. Practically all of your questions could have been answered if you would have searched. (I am playing nice.)

Indeed if I performed countless hours of searches, as we all know if you search ef h22 swap 1000 posts come up with one answer in one post, one in another etc etc.. Im just trying to save time by asking specific questions. In the case of soldering wires Ive had to re-work/fix many ghetto splice jobs that WERENT soldered so to keep from hearing "make sure you solder" I wanted to cover that topic.
I plan on using the factory harness and modifying it accordingly, just wanted to know exactly what needed to be done to convert it over.
I thought about the FLAMING post and regret including that in the heading but it is what it is, as for you playing "Nice", no need to I can take constructive criticism with the best of them and appreciate your reply.
