Are there any parts or accessories that other vehicles ( NOT NECESSARILY HONDAS OR ACURAS ) bring that the prelude can use or are interchangeable? Like for instance a cup holder, arm rest, or that type of stuff?! Has anyone tried anything like that? Even exterior pieces and parts!

 

Anything could be customized to work or fit, but no Honda owner would wanna put a Pontiac cup holder in there car for example lol.......

 

that is true, but i doubt that a pontiac cup holder is marked with the PONTIAC logo or have it written on it. I also have a 91 crx Si and the cup holder out of a TAURUS fits it perfectly below where the radio goes..fitment is right on..FOR EXAMPLE!! And so i ask, not being silly
about it, but just different. And im sure anything can be CUSTOM FITTED but its not what im asking.

 

i think the 90-93 Integra same thing you take out the ashtray and some companies car cupholder fits perfect in that slot and works.

 

Reguarless stick to honda parts...shame on thinking of other car's parts lol

true..some friends of mine have done so as well..you'd be surprised as to what car companies make that are interchangeable!!

 

HONDA PARTS FTW

 

The cup holders from the taurus and a few other older Ford cars fit below the radio slot of all Preludes and some other Hondas - as you noticed in your civic.


Otherwise it's mainly Integra parts that are interchangeable without any heavy modifications.



Misc. Wheels
Acura Legend calipers and NSX calipers fit some gen Preludes
i believe it's ap1 s2000 steering wheels are compatible with the airbag etc in 5th gens
seats from Evo's and s2000's... among others will fit with pre-made rails that you can buy


The list goes on.... but that's just to name a few.
