Default coilover question

Posting for a friend, putting FF type 1 coilovers on an 06 si. Might be a stupid question question to you guys but do the adjustable perch for the springs go up top or on the bottom of the springs? This is for the rear only. Fronts are done and in place. Just never touched one of these civics before. Thanks in advance.

And also, did everyone use the black rubber cone/spacer that sucks in at the top above the coilover?

I've never seen it not used with coilovers. You'd be putting metal against metal if you didn't use it.

Because it's totally different design than the lowering springs and coilover setup.

from the picture above do u see the rubber cone on top of the spring perch?

Here's a member from 8thcivic that has the black version of the FF2. I have the red version

http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/suspe...over-woes.html

inside that black thing that has the spring perch is made of rubber so it is not metal to metal.
