1995 Civic has "popping" noise when turning left (not cv axel)
My son's '95 Civic had a popping noise when turning left. So, I replaced the cv axel and it still pops.
I even put the cv axel that I removed in my friend's car and it worked fine without any noise.
What are some other culprits of this popping noise?
thanks,
-william

I had a couple of shops telling me that it was the driver side cv axel. I knew it wasn't because I replaced it and installed the old one in a friend's car. In the end, it turned out that it was the passenger side cv axel. At least the axel had a life time warranty. Only my labor was lost. Problem solved.
I did check the tie rods and ball joints...so, thanks for the input. I've found that when the ball joints start getting bad they make screeching noises when you turn (at certain temperatures).
