Just curious how many members here participate in iracing? This is a true simulator and many drivers in the Grand Am series use this for practice on many of the courses that the race at.

 

i used to participate.

its good to practice on before you are going to a track especially if you have never been but dont think its anything like really being on track.

that game is like driving on ice and is totally unrealistic. god forbid you let your tire hit the grass in that "simulator" because you will burst into flames into a wall somewhere.

 

+1 to the above.

Pros: tracks are done very realistically and it's a great tool for learning the track.

Cons: tire model is horrible.

Personally, I like Forza4.

 

I used it, great track models, not that great physics.

I love Forza 4 as well but iRacing has the edge especially on tracks, physic wise dare I say Forza 4 beats iRacing? lol

 

I wish Forza 4 had more real life tracks, hopefully they add more. It has a good feel.

I've been looking at getting into iRacing for awhile.

 

I'm on there. Been doing Jetta TDI, Star Mazda, HDP-ARX, F1 with a dab of the Mustang from time to time.

iRacing rules so hard, unfortunately I am never home anymore and by never I mean only on the weekends so I don't have time to play anymore. I'm going to Road Atlanta in a week so I'm going to have to find a minute to fire it back up and get some practice time in though.
