Motor mounts....
The previous owner of my car put in Hardrace motor mounts. I don't really like/need them because the car is just a daily driver and the vibration is annoying when sitting in traffic. To lessen the vibration, I was thinking about ordering a couple OE replacement mounts from rockauto.com and replacing them one by one until the car vibrates less.
So I guess my question is which mounts are the best bang for the buck and easiest to swap out?

just buy all oe mounts or find a good set of used mounts, replace them all, and then sell ur hardrace mounts to make ur money back and some.
edit* the driver and passenger side tranny mounts are easy. Rear is a bitch.

The three that matter most are the timing-belt, tranny, and rear ones. The front one doesn't seem to do much.
I'd replace the timing-belt-end one first (easy), and see how it feels. If it's still too harsh, then do the tranny-end one (NOT easy!). If still too harsh, then the rear one (NOT easy!). I'd leave the front one 'till last.
Easiest by far are the front one and the timing-belt-end one. The rear one requires that you lift the engine 3" or so. The tranny-side one requires that you tilt-and-drop the engine a couple of inches.

I'm not making decent power. The car is stock other than an intake. Its also just my DD, I don't do anything with it other than drive to work and back, I have another car to beat on.

Thanks for the help guys. I'm going to start with replacing the timing belt one with a stock (non-oem) mount and also maybe do the tranny one. Just eye balling it, it doesn't look all that hard to replace the tranny mount but I have been very very wrong before and had "easy" projects turn into one that takes a whole day.
I know i am diggin up an old thread, but i thought that would be better than starting a thread about the same topic. I have searched for the better part of the day before posting. Im getting ready to put my gsr-t (out of my 01 integra) in my 2000 civic coupe. currently it sits at 320 ish and is my daily driver. From what i have read/heard, the rear mount sends the most vibration to the cabin. Is this true? 2nd question. Is it a common practice to have a mixture of motor mounts? Here is my scenario and final question. I was thinking of keeping the rear oem mount ( from my integra) and using innovative mounts (62a street bushings) for the side mounts to stiffen the bay up but to also keep the cabin vibrations to a minimum....Does this sound like a good idea? Any help, or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
