Default IPG ITA Integra Finishes 2nd in Class at PBIR 3 Hour Enduro

We ran a 3 Hour Enduro for the Season Finale of the Tropical Endurance Series this past weekend at Palm Beach Intl Raceway

Full Recap Here -- http://www.ipgparts.net/blog/general...3-hour-enduro/

actually were 1st in Class and Overall after the first 1.5 Hour session of the Enduro Saturday evening due to a lucky yellow flag while we were in the pits

Ended up finishing 2nd in Class and 9th Overall after all was said and done

and with that 2nd in class for the double points event we finished 3rd in Class for the Tropical Endurance Series 2011 Points totals.

Nice work. How'd the brakes hold up? I know you guys were having problems with them.

Louis will chime in I am sure to give you actual feel from the drivers perspective but they seemed to of held up the best they have all year

we tried a new Pad and Fluid Setup (Raybestos Front Pads and Motul Fluid) and it seemed to negate some of the poor pedal feel they were getting into the long stints

that in conjunction with the ducts -- we are on the right track, the pedal still doesn't feel like it should we think, we have a couple of more idea's to play with into the future though

We missed the race due to a busted radiator... found it 3 days before the race

We would have won ITS and secured second in the TES. Should be back next year.

Like James had said, the best they have been all year. The pedal is still not as firm as we would like it, but the changes we made are in the right direction. The pedal feel was better than it ever has been and was consistent the entire race. We just had to remember that we had 3 hours of racing not to go hard on the brakes.

pretty strong words about winning without even being there, lol - getting to the track and giving yourself a shot is the hardest part in my opinion - it is easy to say you would of won on the internet

we have been watching the Datsun run this year, very good looking car

"Would have" was a bit strong. Could have won is more like it. All we needed to do was finish at our normal pace Seems like all the competition had major issues. Our car this year has been rock solid. We've been very pleased with its reliability. Now we just need to find about 25 hp.
