Icon2 Not sure where to put this, roll cage

Sorry if this is in the wrong section. I'm looking into buying a roll bar for my 96 hatch since I do a lot of canyons runs and I want to start autocrossing, wanna be safer. Found this one on craigslist, guy wants $150, but looks like it only bolts in with only 2 points behind driver, is this even worth it or is it just bling factor?

A "proper" roll cage will render any back seat as useless and will likely require that it be removed, something for you to consider.

That bar is junk.
Canyon runs are no good.
You don't need a roll bar for autocross.

Wow, had to look at it from a different angle to see what I was really looking at.

That's not even a roll bar. That would serve about as much protection as a few single bars laying in the back seat. In fact, the single bars laying in the back seat would probably be safer. I would take no roll bar over that. All I can see is in an accident, that it would fold forward and pin you to the seat, kinda like a roller coaster ride. If it didn't break your neck coming forward.
