Bisimoto spec Btx6462j billet turbo......
Just wondering if anyone out there has any feedback on this turbo.I was looking to go with a pt6262 but i keep hearing horror stories about the new precision journal bearing stuff. It will be ran on a stock sleeve piston and rod b18c. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks
There are other companies out there that have similar configurations than just Precision and Bisimoto. Check out Locojoe's B16 setup. But Bisi's is just sooooo brand new, I'm not surprised that there's not a lot of feedback yet. I've already inquired into the make up of this particular turbocharger. Considering Turbonetics just released their billet series, this is more than likely the same design configuration, but I'm sure Julio@Bisi will clarify as needed.
BTX6462 turbo is a great choice and have several options for housing, A/R's and choice of BB or journal. There new billet wheels out flow all their previous wheels and have been used on many OE manufactures where they see high boost pressures for many hours at a time. They do also come with a one year no hassle warranty which no other turbo on the market will back up.
I have been very happy with the new Bisi spec Turbonetics turbos and have seen plenty of testing on them with the Bisimoto Wagon, CRZ, 1000+whp 2012 Civic Si with a big custom 72mm turbo and several happy customers.
Personally myself I have ran the Bisimoto spec Turbonetics Mid-Frame 72mm turbo on a Outlaw built Integra for over a year with out any problems which shares the same technology that is in the BTX6462 turbo.
couple shots of the old setup:

With the reputation that bisi has been getting for himself in the all motor forum, i wouldnt recommend anything with bisimotos name on it.
