Need some swap advice please!
Need some advice, Doing an engine swap on a 91 crx si. Has the d16a6 in it right now but going for either b18b1 full swap for 2k or a b18c1 gsr full swap for 3k both have around same mileage and i ultimatly want to throw a turbo on it. Or should i keep the d series it has. Which is better? and is the vtec and extra hp worth the extra 1,000 dollars. Let me know Thanks.
You never said if you were going to boost on stock internals or build an engine let alone horsepower goals... this makes a huge difference. None are better than any of the other ones until you put a scenario in the mix...

Not sure yet if im going to rebuild internals but most likely will. Horsepower wise i want to get around at least 250 possibly 300's. Are those numbers reachable on a d16a6?
Not stock... Unless you are talking base horsepower then you are truly pushing the limits of the stock engine. It wouldn't be advised as a daily driver.
Since you still didn't give any definitive goals...
LS or GSR would easily get you to your goals and then some in stock form. The GSR will take less to build more power and the sky is the limit for future upgrades. The biggest drawback to the LS is you need a minimum of rod bolts and the head flows for crap. Realistically, if your future plans are not definitive and laid out I would go with the GSR.
Regardless of your plans, head studs are an easy upgrade and insurance policy that should be done to any boosted engine. Just remember a good tune is key and RPMs kill engines. There are tons of variables to consider when building a vehicle like transmission choices, tire sizes, end use, power goals, ect just to name a few... You have a lot to learn and consider.
Lay out some plans then post - not the other way around.

Ide really like to get the car in good enough shape and fast enough to take it to the track and be somewhat of a competition. I started as just a hobby and something to do. Not sure if thats what you meant by goal but there it is. And thanks for the advice so far.
Check all ball joints, bushings, bearings and then swap the motor. And if your not sure which swap you want to do please look in the FAQ and do some research there as to what best fits your goals.
