Someone Talk me out of it....(I think)
Ok...So My insurance battle is slowly coming to a end after almost 8 months.
I miss my R BAD! I won't be getting it back from the insurance company no matter what, and I really think I want another one.
I spotted a 98 CW R at the golf course today, and spent about 30 minutes drooling on it.
Anyone know where one could find a EXCELLENT condition unmodified CW R for sale? Or should I move on? ARRGHH...Decisions decisions....

A: are you preparred to deal with the anxiety of having another one? If anything ever happens to mine again, I won't get another.
B: if you are, then go find one!

I just can't decide....After driving my beater 89 cherokee for the past seven months, I've grown to like not giving a second thought about where I leave my car... On the other hand, not being able to exceed 70MPH really sucks, and you can't really take the jeep to a autocross....
Guess I better start searching!

Find a '98, keep the jeep for trips into the city and general junk, move the convertable to another garage space, park both cars inside(unless you find a better house), get yourself a kick *** alarm...less stress with a daily beater(not that your car is unsafe at work).
Austin - who would really like to see Dion with a CW itr
p.s. Dion, to alter your mind a little...wanna co-drive my car at the next autocross on the 19th? A little driving before Yoda's wedding?

i think it's going to be more and more difficult to find an r in good condition that hasn't been modded/abused.
but if you really want another one, then i would suggest you start looking.
is starting to tire of the R, still
it, but needs a more "grown up" car soon.... if only i had more money

I dunno Dion. I would suggest you go hatch!!
Really.. Unless you can make yourself keep that garage clean and room for the cars, then go for it, but Im sure if you leave it outside, then see ya, all over again.
But back to the hatch.... AUTOX??? shoot.. Ill whoop those ITR guys..

Get a black Mazdaspeed Protege, it will be fun to drive and no theft/vandalism worries.

Get another R. If you don't, you'll regret it for the rest of your life. I waited 4 frigging years (I missed owning one in '97 'cuz I already bought a new '96 GS-R in Jund of '96 and '97 ITR came out in Jan/Feb '97). And, when I was ready for a new car in '99, they didn't make one in '99.
So, in May of '01, I said fawk it, sold my EK project and bought one of the last new ITRs.
DC2R is in the same league as E30 M3... you either have it or you'll regret it for the rest of your life. It's a compact sporty car classic!
p.s. Jason (Jason on H-T.com) is selling his 98 CW R also. He's car is basically I/H/E & springs and in a very good shape. He's in FL.

IM me if you interested in it, i'll give u his number.

I guess a hatch wouldn't be bad....But those damn CW R's really got me thinking....
I guess I'll wait till after my "Will I still be employed" meeting today. That'll be the difference between a R and something else. Thanks guys!
