Default Del Sol - D16z6 - Vtec won't engage

I just bought the car like 2 months ago, it has been licking oil from the cam gear and the distributor also. I took it to the local shop and they replaced all the seals, stopped licking but now Vtec won't engage also it's very slow now.

What can it be?

Check your oil level vtec needs oil pressure to engage if you are low on oil it won't ever come on also are any CEL codes coming up some things to looks for are vehicle speed sensor and throttle position switch if it's none of that then deff take it back to the mechanic who did the work and ask him what he did

I would check and make sure they didnt pull any wires loose. I could see them doing that to.
