Default Thinking of selling the EP3 (again) for AP1

*Picture of my car just for reference, minus the sideskirts/front lip (those pieces were stolen after this photo was taken)

Whats up folks, so I am thinking of selling my EP3 for a AP1. The thought of selling the hatch has crossed my mind numerous times in the past but has never materialized. Reason being is because as I mentioned previously I have a love/hate relationship with the car but ultimately the love conquers all...or does it? After all I am thinking of selling her. The S2K has always been a favorite of mine, with the top spot belonging the the legendary NSX. S2000s are now pretty cheap and I am tempted as hell to pick one up. Here are my personal pros/cons for both cars:

EP3
+Unique bullet style body
+Rally inspired dash mounted shifter
+Pretty rare for a Civic, dont see to many driving around.
+Low theft rate if any
-Heavy
-Slow
-Lack of aftermarket support
-Suspension design could have been better

AP1
+Lightweight 2 seater roadster with nice flat F1 inspired body lines, masculine and not curvy/feminine like the Miata
+Well balanced, predictable handling (good suspension design)
+Lots of aftermarket support
+Reliability, and supposedly one of the best Honda shifter feel (Many praise the positive shift engagement)
+Low seating position/roofline...sit in an EP3 then sit in an S2K....EP3 feels like a mini SUV in terms of height
-Lack of space...not a con to me since I dont lug around people/crap but some might argue that...I love it personally.
-Cramped cabin/quarters...once again not a con to me but some might argue that. Personally I love feeling like a tuna in a sardine can...its cozy and feels like a glove.
-Soft factory top is vulnerable to theft/vandalism.
-Supposedly not a good candidate for drifting...not like I am dori dori master anyways.

Now what I am looking at is the long haul, I could be very happy in an S2K but I feel I might regret selling my EP3 since its so unique. Plus after 6 years of ownership, there is a bond between me and her. I am just torn on what to do, looking for input. Yes I can/will make my own decision, its just nice to have second opinions.

*So basically what I am asking is if you didnt read all that is, keep the EP3 or ditch the minivan and cop the roadster?

Honestly I sold the EP and got the FA5 I don`t regret it... but I loved the EP3 it was fun...

I would love to get an AP1 or AP2 and i would do it but I had other priorities that would of made the S2k hard to justify to the gf!

DO IT!!!!!!!!!!

Is the EP3 paid off? Keep it as a daily and buy an S2K and now BOOM best of both worlds

I'm keeping the RSX when I buy the NSX.

Thanks for the input guys, EP3 was paid off a couple years back.

EP3 was sold today...bitter sweet but shes gone to a good home.

In the mean time I will be driving our extra car (07 Civic Ex sedan) while I search for my AP.

*Update*

Alright so it looks like ill be picking up a CRX. My dad's client has one and we might possibly get it for free or maybe $500-800. He helped her save a ton of money on her home (refinance or something I dunno) and apparently she owes him a lot. He asked me what kind of car I was looking at from my choices (S2K, Miata, ITR) and told him I was still debating. He knew I was always a fan of the CRX and mentioned she had one that was just sitting in her garage. (Shes the first owner). I was pretty excited when he said he could get it for cheap or possibly free from her. Ill find out today what the year/model it is....hoping its a 88-91...even better if its an Si model. What I do know is its manual transmission and red. I was thinking ill just get this car, spend some money for suspension, wheels (just gonna cheap out and get some Rota Slipsteams in flat black) and tint the windows 20% all around. If you guys have driven a CRX you will know how fun they are to drive...friggin light as hell and nimble like a gokart. Also low seating position and roofline.

Ill most likely get this car, ill post pictures when I do and down the road ill get another sports car. This will be my daily...heck I might even make it project build and turn it into a head turner like one of those "Honda-Tech" hard parkers. And not so much worries about theft...it can happen to anyone but I will take the proper precautions ie not going to janky/shady places.

Wish me luck that its a 88-91 second generation guys like this one:

*But if it is a 84-87 1st gen im cool with it as well...actually I think those are lightest at 1800 something lbs...or maybe thats the HF model but none the less I cant wait to get this Rex if all looks good.
