oem bose sound system swap
ok, i have an 05 rsx base.
the sound system with this car sounds crap.
when i had a 03 type-s, i liked the bose. i'm not a sound system guy, not into crazy headunits and subs.
so i thought of upgrading my sound system on my 05 rsx, but at the same time, i didn't wanna lose the oem look. i thought it would be a good idea to swap the oem type-s bose sound system into my car.
my question is, how difficult is the swap? what are the exact parts that i need?
would i need the amp and sub as well?
on the other hand, what would dramatically improve my oem 05 soundsystem? i thought of getting a better speaker, but my friend told me that it could be the deck itself that's shitty.
what's the best solution in improving my oem sound system?

I'm in the same boat as you, speedking, but with my '05 ep3.
Can anyone recommend some good speakers? And will and upgraded head unit make any difference?

It wouldn't be the easiest... you would have to buy a new head unit, the amp, sub, and the wiring harness. So wiring it up and etc would be more effort than just buying per say new/better speakers and a nicer aftermarket deck that has more power.

im sure buying OEM headunit, wiring, amp , sub and speakers will cost more then just buying a nice head unit with a built in amplifier like an alpine headunit with speakers to match. i did this route in my civic and the sound is just as good as the Bose system in my 06 type s
