Glass or Plastic Housing Headlights; EJ1
I am going to get new headlights to replace my crappy ebay halo`s...I`m just wondering, should I get plastic or glass housing with the lights?
Sry Ron, I know this should be in the "Appearence" section, but I`m at work and this section is bookmarked on my phone lol. Feel free to move it.

and the lights for my eg i bought off ebay to install my morimoto's in have glass housings.
Before I changed my OEM`s for cheap ebay halos, my OEM`s were glass. I`m just trying to figure out which would be better. Unless it really doesn`t matter lol.

Get the glass ones. EDM LHD (like Germany) or regular old USDM. They're just more durable and stay clear. I don't advocate for RHD headlights in LHD land because of the crap beam pattern and glare for oncoming drivers.
what i did to my cheap *** halos is i didnt use the halos ever i took out the cheap reflector and tossed a BMW m3 projectors D2S phillips bulbs and some Phillips BMW ballasts and its bright and well projected looks great
That would work, I really like the M3`s lights...Can you give me a quick DIY? At least on how you did it?
bake the headlights remove the plastic lense remove the old projectors i had to modify the housing to make the projector fit but all it was is making the hole a little bigger set the projector in place heat up the glue around the lense and use a s*it ton of clamps and wait
here's a diy i kind of followed but my and i both did our headlights together he did it on his VW and me on my civic

I have always thought about putting the jdm plastic lens on usdm housings
Halo's were the wost idea I ever had. I highly recommend keeping the glass ones, I am actually looking for a good deal on a pair of them so I can actually see at night. (pm if you got any) The plastic ones get all this mud in them and get really brittle really fast.
does anyone know if there are projectors for a EG sedan without halos the have glass outside instead of plastic? I'm sure that something like this will be impossible to find because it would be a quality part.
The light from the d2s bulbs bounce off of the reflector bowl, the lens is what makes give its that sharp, clear cut line and the shield, if modified, can give it a nice color as well. The headlight housing lens also makes a difference as well because if the housing lens are dull than the light output will not be effectively hitting the road, or where ever you have it aimed. Make note of how oem hid headlights are setup, the housing lens are still plastic but its very clear and you'll notice that the lens is not morphed in anyway.

The factory headlights are produced by Stanley... not Denji. Denji's are aftermarket... and typically a projector low/reflector high beam type set up.
As of today, the LEFT side is still available from the Honda Parts Department. The RIGHT side is discontinued.
Not new. I am unaware of any aftermarket headlights for a '92-95 Civic that are Glass. Maybe some body shop OE replacement types would be Glass.
