wats up ht...im trading my car for a 96 coupe wit a gsr swap...i wanna add power steering to it eventually...wat parts would i need and is it hard to do?

 

are you sure you want to add powesteering? have you looked at pros/cons? don't mean to be a hater or anything.
but i've heard it's a pain in the *** to put back in after taking out.

 

you would need a power rack for a 96-00 Civic, the B series power steering pump and the proper lines. That swap isn't that hard, my brother and I did it in his old EK with the automatic B20 swap lol

 

if its too much of a pain in the *** im not worried bout it too much i guess we'll find out

I can't speak on what pump or pump bracket to use for Bseries but I added it to my 96 hatch. It's a days job by yourself, quicker if you have a friends help but not brain surgery. This guide tells you all you'll need (I'm assuming for Bseries you'll need the GSR pump and bracket or LS not sure).

If it has all the power steering lines still you would need an obd2 gsr powersteering pump, gsr top ps bracket, any b series lower bracket, and a ps belt of course.

Go to a specific forum you would like to post in, and above all the threads on the left side of your computer screen there will be a button that says "New Topic" click that

 

You shouldn't need to swap the rack, unless the guy put in a manual rack.


And post pictures of the Ek with a auto B20 swap.
