Running N/A check into getting cylinder head work, and having that head breathe (if within budget of course). If not, look into changing the injectors, fuel pump, looking at changing the intake manifold and boring out to a bigger throttle body etc. There are many ways to get a little more power. Check out Bisimoto Engineering (I don't know if you already heard of Bisi or not), Bisi does wonders with SOHC engines.

Thank you for the heads up, i will check it out. 1.6 L SOHC is good for now so i guess i will just save up to get the turbo kit since that is all i can do to increase like i want to.

What is it you want to do?

I think you might be mistaking more power with being fast???

Driver skill also increases speed too.

Tell us what you want to do vs adding a turbo.
Not all bolt on parts make HP or numbers worth investing the money and time.

We are looking for a specific engine type.
On the block it will say.
D16Z6 or ???
What is the engine block designator, and why do you want to upgrade it?
Anything can be upgraded if your throw enough money at it.

What is it you are looking to do with it, and why do you want to upgrade it?
We also like to know your experience level in driving too so we can give sound advice based on how much driving experience you have.
If you are a beginer... we dont suggest you do anything with it, and learn to drive the car how it is.

Not all bolt on parts make HP or numbers worth investing the money and time.

This is true, you can have a car built with the best parts money can offer but if the driver is terrible then its a complete waste of money.

So you have a B16 engine.....

Great driver in as much as what?
Do you autocross? track racer? Where, how long have you been doing it?
With your lack of knowledge in the engine you have it makes it hard to believe you know what you speak of.

Help us help you.
The B16 has a lot of potential but if the driver is crap.....nothing you do it is going to be any good.
If your are looking for engine upgrades then go to the all motor forum.
Here we deal with autocross and road racing.
This isnt a street racer forum.

He already seems blindfolded, just give him a cigarette before you fire... meatheaded enough to not head to a motor-oriented side of this forum, apparently.

If u raise the rear suspension, you gain the benefits of driving downhill the whole way.

ROFLMAO
fyi-a turbo kit is expensive in the long run if we are talking about track use. Put cams, im, tb, final drive and a good tune up on it.
Although your lack of knowledge leads us to believe there is more time in your driving.
