I have a 95 del sol my boots cracked, i replaced one right away but the other has been open for awhile so i am looking to either replace it myself or just take it in, is it worth paying 60 for the cv axle and do the labor myself or should i take it in?

 

They'll probably charge you about $150 with parts and labor. You decide.

 

They were saying $300 @ honda is it worthit to change it myself i have only changed the boot not the axle so it would be a first time for me

That is a very good write up! Changing an axle is very easy if you are even slightly mechanically inclined.

 

I am slightly lol, when it comes to bolts.
