I was using an impact wrench to remove the rotor screws on the rear wheels. I stripped one screw and the other is close. Is there any way to remove the screws that can be done by a weekend mechanic. Can I remove the wheel hub bearing with the rotor and replace both instead of messing with getting the screw out?

Anyways; yes, I agree on the punch and hammer; hitting at an angle with the punch and counter-clockwise to loosen.

dril the heads of the screw off and dont use an impact gun on screws in the future. get a bit for a ratchet and use that before you screw up those screws, also liquid wrench helps a lot too.

 

Drill the screws out, the threaded shaft can be removed easily once the rotor is off.

 

It's best to not use the screws in the first place. They serve no real purpose.
