1986 CRX Si starting problems, please help.
Hey everyone,
I've got an 86 CRX Si recently everything on its been running fine, a few days ago it started to get hard to start the engine would turn over but it usually took one or two tries to get it running. I parked it, tried it a few more times and it started up every time, then I let it sit for a few hours while I was at work. Now it won't start, the engine doesn't turn over nothing. The fuses all look good everything looks to be connected fine and the starter was replaced less than a year ago. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

How's the battery? You can usually have the battery and starter tested at a parts store. If the starter you got was from a parts store it could be bad. The best bet when it comes to starters is to find a local shop to rebuild them. It usually costs half as much as the refurbished starters from the parts store anyhow. Another possibility is the lock cylinder. When it doesn't start, do you get lights in the dash? If you have no power anywhere, I'd bet on lock cylinder or battery. Hope this helps, good luck
Are you getting any clicks or any other noises when you try to start it? If not, check the battery terminal, especially the negative....
