Pulling out the Starter on an 87 CRX Si
My CRX is getting harder and harder to start. The starter just clicks or struggles for a sec and then just silince. After about 10 to 20 trys, it will crank up perfectly. Its been getting worse so I think I should pull the starter.
I dont have a shop manual yet (just bought the car.) Is it pretty easy to change? I cant find a how to on it and I read in somones build post they had a hard time with it.
What do u guys think?

Re: Pulling out the Starter on an 87 CRX Si
There ya go, Gustav laid it all out. Supper simple. Shouldn't take long at all. I would recommend finding a shop that rebuilds them though. It will save you a lot of money VS buying a re-manufactured one from the parts store. I think it only cost $40 to have mine rebuilt, and it was pretty far gone. The guy said usually it's like 20 bucks. They even painted it. They're about 80 @ at the parts store and they're just rebuilds. Good luck

Wow that was painfully easy. Good thing u gave me those diagrams. I owe u a beer I see why someone on here had a bad day - they went and tried to pull the wrong bolts. Ok that was easy.
