i used my 95 gsr motor trans and ecu with a ob2a vtec harness, everything went good started rite up. i took out the charcoal canister, and running skunk2 mani and type r tb.


my tach isn't working and only code coming up is idle air control valve. seems like its running high if i unplug the iac the idle drops so its working

is that b/c i took the canister out?

any help would be great. i alos put in a si cluster so thinking maybe it has something to do with that with the tach?

make sure you didn't mix up the IACV and IAT plugs. IACV should have one wire that is either yellow/black or black/yellow. The IAT should be Green wire/Red wire.

 

I've got pretty much the same setup and have the same problem....I've tried residing the iac, changing it with working iAcs and mornings worked so far...... What ecu are you running?
