So it doesn't matter whether your driving the car down the road or If you just started her up. I can being doing either but no matter what it happens randomly. When I start the car up It will fire up and run then 2 seconds later all the dash lights go out and the car shuts off. I then Turn the key backwards to off position. And try to restart it and it will repeat the same issue again. It will do this a few times on and off randomly then It will just fire up normally. Anyone got some test for me to figure out the culprit. Or just know the answer.

 

Might sound obvious, but did you check the battery terminals for good contact? Maybe the electrical contact is getting interrupted from vibration or something? Make sure they're tight, and clean.

 

yeah^ that sounds like the main reason something like that would happen.

 

I found my alt wire loose 1 time that was causing wierd stuff.

 

checked all of those. Not the issue.

I had the same problem, just fixed it by replacing the main relay.

When the engine stalls, are the warning lights in the cluster on or off?

 

All the lights turn off on the cluster.

 

If the battery connectors and ground wire are clean and tight, then test the ignition switch.

 

Ok I have checked the battery terminals. They are fine. So the next step how do I test the ignition switch?

+1 on ignition switch. it will cause it to just shut off whenever
