Hard to shift into first
Ive been looking all over this board and the closest ive found to this problem is trouble with shifting into higher gears. I have a 94 Honda Accord EX. the pressure plate, throwout bearing and pilot bearings were all just replaced and its difficult to get it to go into first, there are no grinding sounds when shifting. All other gears shift smoothly. Anyone else have any similar problems. What could be done to fix this. Thanks for any help.
if youre going anywhere above 10mph.. it will be hard to get it into first gear.. its done so that you dont accidently go into 1st when going for 3rd.
a way to get around this at low speeds is to raise your rpms.. then it will go into gear.
hope that helps
