K-series PPG Built 6 speed with TSX 6th and Quaife LSD
I hate to do this...I know i'll regret it 
For sale...the 6 speed trans out of my car. It's a 2003 EP3 case with PPG 1-4 synchro-straight cut gears, RSX-S 5th, TSX 6th, 4.76 final drive, and Quaife LSD. This trans was built by clubrsx last year and delivered to me in July 2010. When they had it, they rebuilt the 6 speed shifter assembly to new, replaced any synchros/bearings/seals that were questionable, and installed the PPG gear set. Clubrsx installed an RSX-S 5th so I could drive around town in 5th with a helical "quiet" gear, but it's a higher gear ratio than my 4th, so when I'm driving I usually skipped 5th gear unless cruising between 25-55mph. Also when racing, 4th gear will go to 145-150mph at 8500rpm, so no need for 5th-6th. I have put 5,000 miles on it, mostly street with 12 passes at the track and the trans has ZERO issues. With the purchase, you will also get all of the stainless hardware from Downstarinc.com(http://downstarinc.com/Shop/index.ph...d&productId=68) already installed. PM with ANY questions!
$4950 shipped, discounted if local picked up near wisconsin without clutch. To build this new would be $7,000 between a used trans case, gears, new synchros, TSX 6th, and Quaife LSD...

I can vouge. rode in it once. was crazy cool! Did you tell JJ about this, maybe he wants it? wait.....why are you selling it?
