Default Tps gone wrong

I have a 93 hatch with a single cam...car had what seemed like a bad tps...when I bought the sensor and went to put it in I was going to adjust the ohms but it seems that when I'm doing it(I have read the tps install guides like a thousand times) I only get a ever changing ohm reading...I thought I was using the two correct prongs but maybe not...any Info would be great...I'm using a craftsman autoranging multimeter....could the throttle body be bad

your meter shouldn't be on ohms. It should be on voltage. Place the red probe on the signal wire and the black on the ground wire.

.5 at closed throttle 4.5 at WOT!
Should be set to volts not ohms (resistance)
Back probe the middle wire with a safety pin. touch it with red probe
and put black probe on the battery(ground)
