The wiper switch on my '88 SI was broken off when I bought the car, and another type of switch was installed so the wipers work. I took the switch from my '91 DX and mounted it. I need to rewire the OEM connectors to hook it up. The connectors that were cut are still there, and they fit in the switch. I was wondering if this switch is the same as the original one.

well if all the colors match and they fit into the harness fine git it a try
i mean whats the worst thing that can happen? you blow the fuse ;P

 

I believe the model changed 89-91, not sure could still fit fine. Worse thing is a 65 cent fuse or it won't fit.

 

i think the only difference is the setting for INT(intermitten) wipers
