this might sound like a dumb question to some. but i was wondering what were the pros and cons of straight piping on a civic with a 4-2-1 header??

 

i think there would be more cons than pro's, first of all, it would sound like complete ****.

 

Pros: none, oh its cheaper maybe

Cons: power loss, very loud, smelly smokey exhaust. Noise violation tickets, extra attention from police, people pointing and laughing, people thinking you want to race them at all times.

 

yea man.
and i'm surprised they haven't mentioned this but with a straight pipe you will fail smog and can be fined for removing an emmision device
